Texas Interpreting Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is with great pleasure that we announce Kent Kennedy as the new Texas
\nOperations Manager. In addition to continuing his role overseeing Centers
\nof Excellence for Texas, Kent will be assuming the administrative functions
\nof Interpreting. Kent will serve as CSD\u2019s state representative, manage and
\nsupervise Texas COE field office and Texas Interpreting Operations and will
\nmanage the departmental budgets to ensure quality of services for consumers,
\npersonnel resources and facilities within the day to day activities of the
\ndivisions while supporting the mission of CSD through the efficient use of
\nthe organization\u2019s programmatic, financial and human resources.<\/p>\n

Sharon Morell will be assuming a role as Assistant Interpreting Operations
\nManager in which her main responsibilities will be to promote, direct and
\ncoordinate marketing and customer service activities within Interpreting
\nOperations which includes networking and building CSD brand recognition.
\nSharon will serve as a liaison between interpreters and CSD\u2019s National
\nInterpreting Referral Manager to ensure any and all areas of concern are
\naddressed in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
