October Fire Safety Reminder<\/strong><\/p>\n

October is Fire Safety Month and Harris Communications wants to remind you
\nto check your current smoke detector to see if it needs a new battery. If
\nyour smoke detector isn\u2019t working, or if it\u2019s time for something new, check
\nout the many smoke detectors we have available for deaf and hard of hearing
\npeople.<\/p>\n

We have a variety of smoke detectors from name brand manufacturers such as
\nGentex, Kidde, BRK Electronics and Silent Call.<\/p>\n

Smoke detectors are available:
\n\u2014with batteries or hardwired.
\n\u2014with strobe lights or audible alarms.
\n\u2014with either photoelectric or ionization detection
\n\u2014with a built-in transmitter that wirelessly sends a signal to a signaler<\/p>\n
