Sprint Walk 2006 <\/p>\n

Get ready for Sprint Walk 2006 happening Saturday October 14, at the Texas School for the Deaf athletic field. Now in its 11th year of fundraisers, Sprint Relay raises funds to benefit four Austin Deaf service organizations: Travis County Services for the Deaf, Camp Sign, Deaf Abused Women and Children Advocacy Services, and TSD Foundation. <\/p>\n

Please come out and show your support by walking. This years walk will be a pledge walk where walkers collect $20 worth or more of donations for their entry. All walkers will receive a free t-shirt. To obtain a walker pledge form you may: <\/p>\n

\nCall TCSDHH (854-9205 -v, 854-9210 – TTY or TCSDHH.co.travis.tx.us – video phone) and we will mail you a pledge form
\nOr call Sprint at 873-1000. <\/p>\n

Sprint Walk events include: <\/p>\n

8:00am: Registration Begins
\n9:00am: Kids\u2019 Run
\n9:30am: Adult\u2019s Walk Begins
\n11:00am: Raffle and Silent Auction Annoucements <\/p>\n

Entertainment will be included from on stage acts to hands on activities with the kids.
\nRaffle items being drawn for feature a 2006 handmade \u201cDeaf theme\u201d quilt, DVD, player, lodging at Extended Stay, gift certificates for dinners for two, and many other prizes. <\/p>\n

Silent Auctions will be held by TCSDHH, TSD Foundation, Camp Sign, and DAWCAS with items ranging from decorations, recreation and entertainment around Austin, books, whimsicals, gift certificates, and hotel stays.<\/p>\n
