Deaf Church Town Meeting – Goliad, Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hey! We are a REAL church!! Services have been great!! More details
\nlater… But please spread the word to anyone who might know anyone Deaf
\n(kids or adults) or who can sign in Beeville, Goliad, Kennedy, Cuero,
\nRefugio, Victoria, Port Lavaca, Rockport, etc etc… that may want to get
\ninvolved in our Deaf activities.<\/p>\n

Hello there!!<\/p>\n

I wanted to make sure you know that the next Meeting for Deaf church is this
\nSaturday, October 16, 2010! We have a few extra things going on this time…<\/p>\n

First, we will have a Deaf “Town Hall meeting” at 3:30 PM. This is for
\nany\/all Deaf and their families from Victoria, Goliad, Beeville, or ANY town
\nclose enough to join us at Minnehulla Baptist Church (same place as last
\ntime). We will open up the meeting with announcements about anything
\nhappening for\/with Deaf in the area\/region\/state. We will let anyone make
\nannouncements. Invite anyone that you want— I have sent emails to the
\nRegional Day School for the Deaf directors, but haven’t heard back. We need
\nto make sure parents of Deaf children know about us… help me spread the
\nword!<\/p>\n

Next, we will dismiss anyone who doesn’t want to stay for church, but we
\nencourage all to stay! We have a meal planned (I need you to RSVP to me
\nRIGHT AWAY) and a church service for the Deaf in ASL (no voice
\ninterpretation this time). **We have a group of church volunteers who are
\ngoing to have a separate class for the kids of Deaf adults!! I will be
\nhelping with this too, in case we have any Deaf kids who show up — they
\nwill LOVE it. They will have fun and learn while their adult famliy members
\nare in the next room doing “big church”.<\/p>\n

We will probably have more announcements about activities after our Deaf
\n“Town Hall Meeting” this Saturday — so don’t miss out!! Please invite
\nother Deaf people and let me know your plans\/ how many are coming.<\/p>\n

We do have a page on Facebook, many of you have joined— it’s called Heart
\nSign. Also, you can go to our website: http:\/\/www.heartsign.org<\/a> and check
\nour calendar!! If you let me know of activities, I can post them there for
\nyou.<\/p>\n

For calendar purposes, our November church meeting will be at 4:30 Saturday
\nNovember the 13th. Details coming soon…<\/p>\n
