Message from DAD President – November 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello to all members and friends of DAD<\/p>\n

We are in middle of November already; wow time sure did fly by fast. We
\nstill have a lot of exciting events coming up. We also hope to complete
\nprojects before New Year\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Some of you noticed some fresh new painted done inside DAD, they are in nice
\nwarm color. It should make us feel more like at home. I want to say BIG
\nTHANK YOU to the following members who volunteered painting inside the
\nclubhouse: Judy Hagen, Jesse Carrizales, Mitchel Bien, April Tatask, Pam
\nCarrizales, Christy Martin, Eduardo Moctezuma and Alfredo Gonzales!<\/p>\n

I learned that Judy Hagen and Mitchel Bien were the ones who donated paints
\nand equipments. HAND WAVE to those volunteers.<\/p>\n

And we should thank to Kathy Costello for donating the Lone Star metals that
\nare currently hanging in the patio. Ray Seal and Mitchel Bien donated the
\nLED Marker boards at the bar area.<\/p>\n

If any of you have old pictures from Silent Deaf Club or DAD time, we would
\nappreciate to have a copy of them. Please see me or Jesse Carrizales (House
\nmanager), if they are the only copy and we return the original picture(s)
\nback.<\/p>\n

The Winter Holiday Party for the Children is scheduled on Saturday, December
\n18th. Please make sure to sign up (register) your child\/children if you are
\nplanning to attend. Parents or guardians are required to be WITH his\/her
\nchild\/children at the party when visiting Santa in order to collect a toy or
\ntwo.<\/p>\n

FYI: We will not have general meeting until January 2011 due to too much
\nevents happening in the next several weeks.<\/p>\n

For those of you who have a birthday this month, DAD would like to wish you
\nall a \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d!<\/p>\n

And here are some upcoming events for this month:<\/p>\n

Saturday November 20, CINGO, ya\u2019ll come and play. Mingle new and old
\nfriends<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday November 26, we will open the day after Thanksgiving.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday November 27, Thanksgiving feast 4:30 pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would like to remind you to always check out DAD\u2019s website,
\n http:\/\/www.dallasdeafclub.org<\/a>, for updated information about any of our
\nupcoming events and social nights.<\/p>\n

Also if you desire to use the DAD\u2019s meeting hall for your meetings and\/or
