Fox News Your Side on Scammed Relay Calls<\/p>\n

Tonight at 9 pm (Friday night Feb 16, 2007), Fox News Your Side (Channel 7 – Austin area) will do news segment on Scammed Relay Calls. Yours Truly (me) will be on TV news. They interviewed me nearly 20 minutes long, but I do not know how much of that will be aired. <\/p>\n

They wanted to report on relay service as well as on scammed relay calls that were made from nefarious hearing persons from outside of USA pretending to be deaf. <\/p>\n

FYI: just this afternoon there was a very good and, I felt, productive telephone conference call with the FCC, deaf leaders, and providers regarding what is best way to do outreach to the businesses that they need to do best business practices in processing telephone orders. Kudos to the FCC to try and resolve this sticky problem. <\/p>\n
