\nStudents with Disabilities has opened a second part-time staff position,
\nwith benefits.<\/p>\n

Duties: Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Communication
\nAccess for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing CADH, provide part-time (25 hours
\nper week) sign language interpreting services for Deaf\/Hard of Hearing
\nfaculty, staff, students and visitors. Sign language interpreting services
\ninclude but are not limited to interpreting for lectures, labs, seminars,
\nmeetings, appointments and exams as well as university-hosted activities
\nsuch as convocations, commencements, orientations and lecture series. Adhere
\nto the RID Code of Professional Conduct. Participate in feedback and\/or
\nmentor peer interpreters for skill development. Work effectively in teams
\nwith other sign language interpreters. May utilize technologies to
\ntranscribe speech to text. Other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
