The Director of FEMA\u2019s Office of Disability Integration and Coordination,
\nMarcie Roth, would like to the following information with you regarding a
\nresearch project on the use and usability of wireless technology by people
\nwith disabilities currently taking place.<\/p>\n

Survey on emergency communications and people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

Hi All,<\/p>\n

I am a researcher at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. I am working on a
\nresearch project on the use and usability of wireless technology by people
\nwith disabilities.<\/p>\n

We are currently conducting a survey about two aspects of the way people
\nwith disabilities use emergency communications:<\/p>\n

1) contacting 911 emergency services like fire, ambulance, police, etc.
\n2) receiving alerts about public emergencies like weather alerts, Amber
\nalerts, etc.<\/p>\n

It would help me a lot if you could take our survey. It takes only a few
\nminutes. You can take the survey on-line at:<\/p>\n
