Texas State University – San Marcos’ American Sign Language Club is hosting Deaf-Deaf-World, an annual event to highlight the culture and language of the Deaf. With entertainment and information ranging from ASL storytellers to poets to informational booths on the linguistics of ASL and sociology of Deaf culture, the ASL Club’s event is open to people with all ranges of hearing loss and all levels of skill in ASL in order to broaden the public’s understanding of ASL and the Deaf around them.<\/p>\n
