Disability and Disaster Resiliance meeting in Austin…open to public<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASL intepreter provided<\/p>\n

Hey everyone,<\/p>\n

I’d like to inform you that there will be a public meeting (anyone can
\nattend) that will discuss how the State provides emergency alerts and
\ninformation for citizens of Texas…<\/p>\n

This is our chance to be seen and heard to support and advocate for ASL
\naccess.<\/p>\n

I know this sounds like an advertisement for Deaf Link and AHAS but
\nseriously this is more about….ASL access….and so far I know of no other
\ncompany that can provide the type of delivery in ASL like AHAS-IN can do…<\/p>\n

I’d like to invite you to attend this really important meeting..(interperter
\nwill be provided by Vital Signs; our request for interpreter was denied by
\nState because “last minute” request)..<\/p>\n
