Bible Camp for the Deaf<\/p>\n
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA \u2013 Deaf Missions is hosting its 37th Annual Bible Camp for the Deaf July 12-15, 2007, at Nebowa Christian Camp in Onawa, Iowa. The theme is, \u201cExplore!\u201d Pastor Tim Thurston (deaf) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, will be the guest speaker. All Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people, 5th grade through adult, are welcome to come. Children younger than 5th grade may come if accompanied by an adult guardian. Hearing people are welcome, if they come with Deaf people who are immediate family members, or if they are accompanying Deaf members of their Deaf Ministry. <\/p>\n
The cost for this camp is $60.00 for an individual, including food, lodging, recreation, insurance, crafts, and picture. There are discounts available for families. Campers who register and pay before May 1 will receive a free T-shirt from Deaf Missions. <\/p>\n
Besides the Bible study and worship, other great and fun activities are being planned, including recreation, games, crafts, skits, excursions to area attractions, and fellowship times.
