Hello DAD members and friends from the DAD President Edler-Ashley:<\/p>\n
I want to share with all of you what’s happening at DAD this coming Saturday – St. Patrick’s Day! (3\/17\/07)<\/p>\n
1. This Saturday afternoon, the Dallas-Ft. Worth Area Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DFWADHHS) board will have their regular board meeting at the Dallas Association of the Deaf (DAD) from 4 to 6 pm. The board always welcome visitors to come and watch\/observe the meeting. There is no admission fee for this. If you have any question please feel free contact Marianne Sasseen, President, DFWA, at sasseen70@aol.com.<\/p>\n
2. Saturday evening, CINGO will begin to play at 8:30pm. For those who want to participate, the admission is: $10.00 to play and $5.00 if not wish to play. (Note: members of DAD will received their CINGO prize in full while non-members only get 50%). A special announcement will be made by CINGO Committee. <\/p>\n
3. Also, Saturday evening, the Miss Deaf Texas Pageant committee, along with the 2006 Miss Deaf Texas, Johanna Valenta, will be present at DAD helping with the Miss Deaf Texas Pageant fundraiser! They will be selling hamburgers, chips, desserts, and drinks, during the evening. The MDTP committee will begin their food sale at 5:30pm. Come and show your support. Please feel free to contact Laura Loeb Hill, Chair, MDTP, at laura@deaftexas.org, if you have any questions.<\/p>\n
And for those of you who are not members yet, do join! It is only ten dollars, per year, for Active members. An Associate membership is five dollars, for the year.<\/p>\n
