2nd Annual ASL SPOTLIGHT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hosted by Heart of Texas Interpreters for the Deaf<\/p>\n

Who: Deaf adults and children, CODAs, interpreters, students, friends and family of the Deaf World<\/p>\n

What: Come share your ASL stories, jokes, poems, skits, songs, ABC and 123 stories!<\/p>\n

When: Friday night, April 22, 2011<\/p>\n

6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Why: Waco has a fun and vibrant Deaf community!<\/p>\n

This is a chance to share your language and culture with each other, with interpreters and students, and with a new generation of Deaf children in Waco!<\/p>\n

PLUS\u2026 This year, we have a little something new. Since we are meeting at a real theater, we are going to have a RED CARPET EVENT! So get out your fancy dresses, gloves, suits, ties, and hats… Let’s get dressed up and have a party!<\/p>\n

We want EVERYONE to participate! Deaf, Hearing, adults, students, and kids! PLEASE SIGN UP to tell a story or share something with us all. This is a family friendly event, so all presentations should be G or PG please!<\/p>\n
