THE BEST CREATED-HAT CONTEST!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dallas Association of the Deaf is pleased to announce a special event which will be held on this coming Saturday, April 2nd for those who participate in the created-hat contest. There will be $50.00 for 1st place, $25.00 for 2nd place, and $15.00 for 3rd place. It will be based on 35 entries.<\/p>\n

The location is 4215 Maple Ave., Dallas, Texas 75219.<\/p>\n

DAD will be open at 7 p.m. and the hat contest will start at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

What you can do is to create any kind of hat and bring it to DAD for your contest.<\/p>\n

DAD knows that there are many deaf talent individuals that can make hats so that the top three participants will win the prizes.<\/p>\n

The desserts will be on sale.<\/p>\n

Admission: $3.00 member and $6.00 for non-member.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget Saturday, April 2, 2011. It will be fun-loving gathering!<\/p>\n

The money DAD has raised is to proceed to the building improvement fund.<\/p>\n
