2011 TEXAS INTERPRETER EDUCATION SERIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deaf Interpreter Training, will be held at Southwest Collegiate Institute
\nfor the Deaf (SWCID) on June 11-15, 2011. Please note that it will begin on
\nSaturday and will end on Wednesday. This training is for individuals who are
\ndeaf and are interested in becoming a deaf interpreter, and for deaf
\ninterpreters who want to upgrade or improve their interpreting skills.<\/p>\n

Tri-Lingual Interpreter Training, will be held at Southwest Collegiate
\nInstitute for the Deaf (SWCID) on June 11-15, 2011. Please note that it will
\nbegin on Saturday and will end on Wednesday. This training will focus on
\nintensive sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign trilingual interpreting, and will
\nprovide an environment in which participants can stretch their interpreting
\nhorizons and explore new approaches in this specialty area.<\/p>\n

General Interpreter Training will be held at Southwest Collegiate Institute
\nfor the Deaf (SWCID) on August 1-5, 2011. This training will focus on
\nintensive sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpreting and will provide an
\nenvironment in which participants can stretch their interpreting horizons
\nand develop strategies and skills they can implement in their work.<\/p>\n
