ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE TAD CONFERENCE 2007:<\/p>\n
We are very excited to have Mr. Tim Rarus, a former TAD president, as a presenter during the TAD Conference, 2007, which will be held at the Hilton Arlington, June 21 \u2013 23, in Arlington, TX.<\/p>\n
Mr. Tim Rarus\u2019 presentation is titled: \u201cDEAF PROTEST NOW \u2013 18 YEARS AGO AND TODAY\u201d<\/p>\n
Here is some information about Tim Rarus:<\/p>\n
Tim is currently the CSD Chief Marketing Officer for the VRS Marketing Division. He began his career in 1989 by working for the U.S. Senator, John McCain, in Washington, DC, after receiving a BA in Government from Gallaudet University.<\/p>\n
Later Tim became the Assistant Director of the Gallaudet University Regional Center for the mid western region, in Overland Park, KS. <\/p>\n
In 1994, Tim moved to Austin, TX, to become the Executive Director of Vaughn House, Inc. <\/p>\n
A few years later, in 1997, Tim began working for CSD in Austin, focusing his efforts on interpreting and captioning issues within the Austin area. <\/p>\n
From the beginning he has played a key role in the development of CSD\u2019s video interpreting department. <\/p>\n
During the time he resided in Austin he became the TAD president, as well.<\/p>\n
Currently Tim and his family reside in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.<\/p>\n
