Message from DAD President – May 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello to all members and friends of DAD<\/p>\n

I cannot believe it\u2019s May already and the summer is just around the corner,
\nwhich means picnic, swimming, wearing summer clothes, etc. Yeah! I am
\nlooking forward for the summer!<\/p>\n

When I surfed on internet for May\u2019s National of the month, there were many
\nto pick. I decided to pick the Preservation. May is National Preservation
\nmonth and this year\u2019s theme is \u201dCelebrating American\u2019s treasure\u201d. It means
\nto save American\u2019s treasures, preserve projects in cities and towns from
\ncoast to coast.<\/p>\n

I want to share with you that the NSAD (National Softball Association of the
\nDeaf) will be held in Dallas TX from August 11-13. We have flyers and combo
\ntickets available. Flyers can be found in the flyer rack holder, be sure to
\npick one up.<\/p>\n

Good News! We have more and new pictures added to the DAD\u2019s website! They
\nare in year 2010 and 2011. Enjoy viewing them!<\/p>\n

We have some vacancy positions: two board members, vice president, trustee
\nand membership secretary; if you are desire or may be interesting in one of
\nthe following positions, please see me or Anthony Jones, DAD Board Chair.<\/p>\n

For any of you who are having a birthday this month, DAD would like to wish
\nyou a \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d and \u201cHappy Belated Mother Day\u201d!<\/p>\n

Events for this month of May.<\/p>\n

* Saturday, May 14- Pool and Dart tournament (check the flier)<\/p>\n

* Friday, May 20- General member meeting-7:30 pm<\/p>\n

* Saturday, May 21-Cingo game-8:30 pm ya\u2019ll come and play<\/p>\n

* Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28- We are opening for Memorial Day
\nweekend<\/p>\n

The rest of Fridays of May will be social nights.<\/p>\n

\nupcoming events and social nights.<\/p>\n
