ASL Teacher Workshop: Make-It-Take-It & Show and Tell – DFW<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attention D\/FW area ASL teachers:<\/p>\n

You are cordially invited to attend the \u201cMake-It-Take-It \/Show and Tell\u201d
\nworkshop. Please join us to get concrete, tangible ideas that you can use
\nin your classroom this fall. You will receive materials to put together and
\nideas to take home and implement in your class. It is a great opportunity
\nto work with and meet other area ASL teachers. Hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

\nEngineering Research Building (ERB)
\n500 UTA Blvd. Room 103 (first floor)
\nArlington, Texas 76019<\/p>\n

PARKING:
\nFree \u2013 Park on Lot 36 (blue) North of and across the street from ERB (red
\ncircle). It is on the corner of Lampe St. and UTA Blvd. but you will enter
\nthe lot from Lampe St. See the link to the map below.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
\n8:30 \u2013 9:00 a.m. = registration
\n9:00 \u2013 11:30 a.m. = Make-It-Take-It sessions. Participants will rotate
\namong groups and have time to make activities to take home.
\n11:30 \u2013 12:30 p.m. = LUNCH. On your own or brown-bag-it.
\n12:30 \u2013 1:00 p.m. = Brief meeting for participants to appoint a committee to
\ndraft updated bylaws for DFW-ASLTA
\n1:00 \u2013 4:00 p.m. = \u201cShow and Tell\u201d sessions. Come ready to share a
\nproject\/activity\/game\/idea with your colleagues.<\/p>\n

COST:
\nMembers = free
\nNon-members = $20. BUT this $20 covers the cost of a year\u2019s membership to
\nDFW-ASLTA.
\nYou may pay by cash or check made payable to \u201cDFW-ASLTA\u201d at registration
\ntime (8:30 \u2013 9:00 a.m.).<\/p>\n
