Obituary: George Chris Payton<\/strong><\/p>\n

George Chris Payton passed away on june 29, 2011. He had surgrey with
\ntriplet bypass yesterday but he failed. He married to kay maxwell in
\n1979,,, he had a daughter and a son and 3 grandsons.. his body view will
\nbe on friday at 10 am. to 8 p.m. at fayette memorial funeral home in la
\ngrange, texas.. on sat morning at 10 service at second baptist church on
\n1010 von minda street and burial will be helding at florida cemetry in round
\ntop texas.. pray for his family and grandsons.. Chris went to texas
\nschool for the deaf and left in 1967 or 1968. he loved to go deer hunting
\nand love to feed animals and dogs..<\/p>\n

George Chris Payton, age 64, of Round Top, passed away on June 29, 2011 in
\nAustin.\u00a0George was born on October 25, 1946, in Houston to Oscar L. Payton and
\nGladys Mercer Payton. He married Fannie Kay Maxwell on July 21, 1979, at
\nConroe.<\/p>\n

He worked at Belmore as a welder for 27 years and then worked at Round Top
\nCarmine ISD for 20 years as a custodian.<\/p>\n

George had a love for deer hunting and his pets, but his one special love
\nwas his grandchildren.<\/p>\n

George is survived by his wife, Fannie Kay; daughter, Kristina Kristoff and
\nhusband Jacob ; son, Patrick Payton; grandchildren, Jackson Kristoff,
\nBrandon Kristoff and Preston Kristoff. He is also survived by special
\nfriends; Richard and Katherine Periero, Carolyn Garza and her husband and
\nHerman and Carolyn Shimpock.<\/p>\n

Visitation is scheduled for Friday July1, 2011, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM
\nat Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive
\nvisitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.<\/p>\n

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday July 2, 2011, at 10:00 AM at
\nSecond Baptist Church in La Grange.<\/p>\n

Interment will follow at Florida Chapel Cemetery near Round top.<\/p>\n

Memorial contributions may be made to the Deaf Ministry at Second Baptist
\nChurch in La Grange.<\/p>\n
