He had surgrey with<br \/>\ntriplet bypass yesterday but he failed. He married to  kay maxwell  in<br \/>\n1979,,, he had a daughter and a son  and 3 grandsons..  his body view will<br \/>\nbe on friday at 10 am. to 8 p.m. at fayette memorial funeral home in la<br \/>\ngrange, texas.. on sat morning at 10   service at second baptist church on<br \/>\n1010 von minda street and burial will be helding at florida cemetry in round<br \/>\ntop texas..  pray for his family and grandsons..   Chris went to texas<br \/>\nschool for the deaf and left in 1967 or 1968. he loved to go deer hunting<br \/>\nand love to feed animals and dogs..<\/p>\n<p>Submitted by<br \/>\nBarbara Ainsworth<br \/>\nEmail: barjat1958@yahoo.com<\/p>\n<p>George Chris Payton, age 64, of Round Top, passed away on June 29, 2011 in<br \/>\nAustin.\u00a0George was born on October 25, 1946, in Houston to Oscar L. Payton and<br \/>\nGladys Mercer Payton. He married Fannie Kay Maxwell on July 21, 1979, at<br \/>\nConroe.<\/p>\n<p>He worked at Belmore as a welder for 27 years and then worked at Round Top<br \/>\nCarmine ISD for 20 years as a custodian.<\/p>\n<p>George had a love for deer hunting and his pets, but his one special love<br \/>\nwas his grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>George is survived by his wife, Fannie Kay; daughter, Kristina Kristoff and<br \/>\nhusband Jacob ; son, Patrick Payton; grandchildren, Jackson Kristoff,<br \/>\nBrandon Kristoff and Preston Kristoff. He is also survived by special<br \/>\nfriends; Richard and Katherine Periero, Carolyn Garza and her husband and<br \/>\nHerman and Carolyn Shimpock.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation is scheduled for Friday July1, 2011, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM<br \/>\nat Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
