Black<br \/>\nkaren.black@rit.edu<br \/>\n(585) 475-6840 (voice\/TTY)<\/p>\n<p>RIT CAREER AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH HEARING LOSS ANNOUNCES SUMMER SESSIONS <\/p>\n<p>ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 12\u2014High school sophomores and juniors with hearing loss can learn about career choices and experience college life this summer at Explore Your Future, a six-day career awareness program at Rochester Institute of Technology\u2019s (RIT) National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID). Students can enjoy hands-on activities as they learn about different careers in the fields of art, business, computers, engineering, science, and more. They will meet other students from around the country as they have fun exploring their options for the future. <\/p>\n<p>EYF offers two sessions: July 14-19 and July 21-26. Parents or guardians attend a workshop on the final day of each session that describes how to prepare students for life after high school, whether that choice includes college or work.<\/p>\n<p>Cost is $650 and includes everything but spending money and transportation.
