Dallas Association of the Deaf (DAD) will have a regular monthly general meeting this\u00a0coming Saturday, July 23rd at 7:30 PM. DAD needs your input.<\/div>\n

Location: 4215 Maple Ave., Dallas, Texas 75219.<\/div>\n

The doors will open at 6:30 PM.<\/div>\n

The next upcoming event: The National Softball Association of the Deaf (NSAD) has\u00a0chosen Dallas as the host city for the national softball tournament on August 11-13, 2011.\u00a0The games will be played at Kiest Field Park in the Oak Cliff area. DAD will open to\u00a0players and fans for sociability at 7 PM. Be sure to circle August 11-13, 3011 with red ink on\u00a0your calendar! See NSAD\u2019s website for flyer \u2014\u00a0http:\/\/www.NSAD.org<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Again, don\u2019t forget to attend the general meeting this Saturday at 7:30 PM.<\/div>\n

Anyone, whether you are deaf or hard of hearing who is interested in joining DAD as a\u00a0member is welcome. The annual membership dues are $10.00.<\/div>\n

DAD is one of the largest Deaf organizations in Deaf America. DAD customs are true to\u00a0ASL and the ways of Deaf culture.<\/div>\n
