Hello,<\/p>\n

An estimated 1500 Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Deaf\/Blind and Hearing individuals
\nfrom 13 states will attend a special three-day convention beginning on
\nFriday, August 5 in Denton, Texas. This convention is one of seven
\nconventions hosted this summer by Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses presented entirely in
\nAmerican Sign Language. Please find attached the Preconvention Release
\nannouncing the upcoming convention at the Denton, Texas Assembly Hall of
\nJehovah’s Witnesses.<\/p>\n

The convention last year received outstanding coverage from the Denton
\nRecord-Chronicle newspaper<\/p>\n

Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses invite all to attend
\n\u201cLet God\u2019s Kingdom Come!\u201d Convention
\nPresented in American Sign Language<\/p>\n

Denton, TX\u2014Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses are inviting all in the area to attend a
\nprogram focusing on a government that millions, perhaps billions, pray for.
\nGod\u2019s Kingdom government, which is requested in the world-famous model
\nprayer taught by Jesus Christ, will be the focus of the 2011 \u201cLet God\u2019s
\nKingdom Come!\u201d District Convention to be held at the Denton, Texas Assembly
\nHall of Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses.<\/p>\n

Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses believe that the request for God\u2019s Kingdom in the model
\nprayer, recorded in the Bible at Matthew 6:10 (also known as the Lord\u2019s
\nPrayer or the Our Father), has profound meaning. They also believe that the
\nanswer to that prayer will bring significant changes to the earth and
\nmankind. The Witnesses\u2019 convention program promises intriguing details from
\nthe Bible\u2019s explanation of such developments. Starting this weekend, and
\ncontinuing for the next couple of weeks, Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses will put forth
\nextra effort to extend a personal invitation to all deaf, deaf\/blind, and
\nhard of hearing from 13 surrounding states to attend the convention with
\nthem. The three-day event to be held in Denton, Texas will begin Friday,
\nAugust 5, 2011, at 9:20 a.m. The daily themes are based on passages of
\nScripture including Matthew 4:17, Matthew 6:33, and 2 Peter 1:11.
\nStrengthening one\u2019s faith in the reality of that Kingdom will be the focus
\nof the program. There is no admission fee. Conventions of Jehovah\u2019s
\nWitnesses are supported entirely by voluntary donations.<\/p>\n

Locally, all of the area\u2019s 29 sign language congregations of Jehovah\u2019s
\nWitnesses will be supporting the activity of distributing printed
\ninvitations to the convention. An estimated 1,500 will come to Denton, Texas
\nover the weekend for the Bible-based programs.<\/p>\n

Throughout the United States, there will be 381 conventions in 98 cities.
\nWorldwide, there are over 7,500,000 Witnesses in more than 107,000
\ncongregations.<\/p>\n
