On Sunday,<br \/>\nJuly 24 at 9:15, we embark on developing a strong community of Deaf, HH,<br \/>\nLate deaf, CODA, and Friends of Deaf at FM Houston. FMHouston continues to<br \/>\nexamine and act upon the steps necessary to make it truly accessible to the<br \/>\nDeaf community.<\/p>\n<p>Our new Deaf Room is located on the lower level in LL9b and can be easily<br \/>\naccessed by using the lower level elevator located just across from the<br \/>\nSanctuary&#8217;s main lobby entrance. Everyone is welcome to become a member of<br \/>\nthis new family of individuals who wish to share with others their thoughts<br \/>\nand feelings about topics that provide for personal learning.<\/p>\n<p>Redefining Deaf meets from 9:15-9:40 with coffee and continental breakfast<br \/>\nfor a morning social time. This is followed by group discussion on topics<br \/>\nrelated and relevant to the series presented by Dr. Wende each Sunday in the<br \/>\n11:00am service. This service is ASL interpreted, traditional in nature, to<br \/>\ninclude singing.<\/p>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t join us for the discussion and worship, no worries. Redefining<br \/>\nDeaf continues with a social time at the lunch table each Sunday at a local<br \/>\neatery. It&#8217;s a great time to share with others.<\/p>\n<p>FMHouston is located at 1320 Main Street at Clay Street in downtown Houston.<br \/>\nFree parking is located directly across the street in a church-owned parking<br \/>\nlot with private cart pick up to bring you right to the front door.<\/p>\n<p>So, what&#8217;s keeping you from checking out the Redefining Deaf experience?<br \/>\nCome be a part of what will be a wonderful Deaf directed, Deaf designed,Deaf<br \/>\norganized group.
