Level Ground Arts is pleased to announce the regional premiere of the
\nmusical \u201cXanadu\u201d.<\/p>\n

Nights Interpreted: August 6th, August 12th , August 20th, August 26th, 2011<\/p>\n

Time: The musical will be performed on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:15 pm
\nat the KD Studio Theatre.<\/p>\n

Based on the notoriously so bad-it\u2019s funny 1980s film which starred Olivia
\nNewton-John and Gene Kelly, the stage version focuses on a Greek muse, Clio,
\nwho descends from Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California in 1980 disguised
\nas an Australian roller girl named Kira to inspire struggling artist Sonny
\nto achieve the greatest creation of his life – a roller disco. Her jealous
\nsisters complicate matters by causing Clio to fall in love with the mortal
\nSonny, which could lead to her eternal banishment to the underworld.
\nFeaturing the Electric Light Orchestra songs taken directly from the movie,
\nthe score includes such hits as Magic and I’m Alive, as well as Olivia
\nNewton-John’s 1975 success Have You Never Been Mellow.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for Seniors and Students with a valid ID.
\nReservations can be made at 214-630-5491 or tickets can be purchased online
\nat http:\/\/www.levelgroundarts.com<\/a>. All sales at the door are cash only.<\/p>\n

Non-Certified Student Interpreters from Collin County Community College will
