Part of his efforts have included
helping TSD establish a golf program, and finding funding to build a
practice area and hire an instructor, Brandon Babineaux, also deaf and an
extremely talented golfer, quite possibly the best deaf golfer in the
nation.

The camp costs $200. Limited financial assistance is available on a case-by
case basis. Please contact Scott Bailey at swatpeace@hotmail.com if you
would like more information about financial assistance for the camp. This
initial program is limited to 8 children. These children can be Deaf, HoH or
KODA. Your child will not need to purchase any equipment
to participate in this camp.

The junior camps will be for all ages beginning at 5 years old. We will
teach the beginners the basics of golf and we will make sure they have a
great time learning. For those that are a little more advanced than the
beginner, we will be focusing on developing the swing utilizing all of our
teaching and video equipment.

Caruso’s Links:

http://www.caruso-golf.com/index.aspx – home page

http://www.caruso-golf.com/Uploads/Documents/Summer%202011%20Camps.pdf – jr. camp info

http://www.caruso-golf.com/Uploads/Documents/Summer%20Camps%20Registration%20Form.pdf – registration info.

To inquire about financial assistance for the camp from SASAD, please
contact Scott Bailey swatpeace@hotmail.com with subject: Jr. Golf Camp by
Aug 4th.

For more information about the Jr. Golf Camp, contact Mike Houston at
mikehouston67@gmail.com

Volunteers are also welcome.
