We especially like the new inventions brought in by guys who<br \/>\nknow firsthand what is needed for those in a chair. It takes a person with a<br \/>\ndisability to understand the meaning of \u2018disability\u2019.&#8221; Trish N., Houston<br \/>\nAbilities Expo<\/p>\n<p>I saw my son walk hands-free for the first time with the help of a special<br \/>\nwalker!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had the biggest smile from ear to ear. He lifted up his knee and as soon<br \/>\nas I saw that first step, I just started crying because I\u2019d never seen that<br \/>\nbefore. He kept saying, \u2018I\u2019m doing it, Mommy, I\u2019m doing it. I\u2019m walking!<br \/>\nI\u2019m strong!\u2019\u201d Desiree T., Los Angeles Abilities Expo<\/p>\n<p><em>Everything I need is all in one place!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinally, a place where ALL the options can be presented, including options<br \/>\nthat I haven&#8217;t even dreamed of! Even though the Internet has made the supply<br \/>\nand demand path shorter, it&#8217;s still hard to find just what you are looking<br \/>\nfor online.\u201d Reba D., New York Metro Abilities Expo<\/p>\n<p><em>The highlights for my kids were the sporting events and other activities!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey couldn\u2019t get enough of it and we even had to visit the free wheelchair<br \/>\nmaintenance booth to get things tightened up! We also made contact with an<br \/>\nadaptive sports program.
