Buck was born on<br \/>\nOctober 14, 1944, to Arthur and Lila Lynch in Matador, and raised in<br \/>\nWhiteflat, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Buck was known for his great sense of humor and he was always so full of<br \/>\nlife. Being deaf didn\u2019t hold him back from anything. He enjoyed life with<br \/>\nhis many deaf friends, and most of all with his family. Buck retired in 1997<br \/>\nafter more than 30 years of work as a printer. Growing up, Buck attended the<br \/>\nTexas School for the Deaf in Austin, where he learned the trade of<br \/>\nprinting.<\/p>\n<p>He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by<br \/>\nhis two sisters, Lola Allison and Martha Woodard of Amarillo; wife of 40<br \/>\nyears Frances Taylor-Lynch; step-daughter Betty Fernandini; daughters Lisa<br \/>\nGodsil and husband Kevin, and Molly Elliott; son Wayne Lynch and wife Pen,<br \/>\nand six grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m.\u20148:00 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral<br \/>\nHome on Thursday, August 11, 2011.
