Need a break from stressful college registration week?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Come on out on the water and take a break from all the craziness by learning
\nhow to do Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Austin!<\/p>\n

A great way to relax! If you ever wonder what it is like to stand up on a
\npaddleboard and go paddling on the river, here’s your chance! If you’ve
\ngot great balance, this will be easy for you. If you’ve got lousy balance
\nlike me, you’ll *kerplat!* into the water a few times.<\/p>\n

It’s every Wednesdays at 6pm behind the Hyatt Regency (208 Barton Springs
\nRd) on the water, near the 1st Street Bridge, at a dingy dock called
\n“Capital Cruises”.<\/p>\n

A friendly stand up paddle board series designed for those who are looking
\nto improve their paddling technique and have a good time! Come out each
\nweek for a fun, conversational, conditioning paddle. We will be launching
\nfrom the first street bridge, paddling down to the I 35 bridge, and back.
\nThis weekly 3 mile paddle will give you a chance to come out and challenge
\nyour friends or simply enjoy the beautiful Austin skyline.<\/p>\n

Stay for a beverage and some great appetizers at Marker 10, an Austin bar
\nlocated in the Hyatt Regency with unparalleled views of Lady Bird Lake and
\ndowntown Austin. Marker 10 will be offering half price appetizers and $3
\ndrafts for all paddle participants.<\/p>\n

There is a parking lot available at Auditorium Shores with additional free
\nparking spaces surrounding the area. Park your car, bring your board down,
\nand get ready to paddle!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re now ready to make boards available to the 1st (15) people who show-up.
\nIt\u2019s 1st come 1st served NO reservations, and the boards are $10\/ea- CASH
\nONLY. Those who needs boards need to be there by 5:30pm to fill out waiver
