Greetings Everyone!<\/p>\n
Since many of you have been asking, I’m happy to announce our ACC-Deaf Open House on SATURDAY, APRIL 28th at the Riverside Campus. <\/p>\n
The Deaf Open House is part of a larger celebration, the Dia de la Familia – Day of the Family, a campus-wide event taking place the same day!<\/p>\n
The Dia de la Familia Celebration is from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and we will have lots of fun, food, and music to help celebrate the rich Hispanic Culture—Interpreters will be provided throughout the day.<\/p>\n
The Deaf Activities will start around 11:00 am (Deaf-Time!) and we invite you to visit the High Tech Deaf Classroom in Bldg. A and meet our Instructors & Students. We will also share information about the Deaf Classes, and there will be an opportunity for you to tour the campus.<\/p>\n
Then at 2:00 pm, the ACC Deaf Studies Association will present the DEAF MONOLOGUES II Play in the Bldg. G- Auditorium. (See downloadable flyer below)<\/p>\n
Immediately following the Play will be a Panel Discussion by the Deaf Students, and the Audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear about the student’s own personal experiences in college.<\/p>\n
