We discovered wheelchair accessories to make our lives easier!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were quite pleased with the turnout of vendors for people of all
\ndisabilities. We especially like the new inventions brought in by guys who
\nknow firsthand what is needed for those in a chair. It takes a person with a
\ndisability to understand the meaning of \u2018disability\u2019.\u201d Trish N., Houston

I saw my son walk hands-free for the first time with the help of a special
\nwalker!<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had the biggest smile from ear to ear. He lifted up his knee and as soon
\nas I saw that first step, I just started crying because I\u2019d never seen that
\nbefore. He kept saying, \u2018I\u2019m doing it, Mommy, I\u2019m doing it. I\u2019m walking!

\u201cFinally, a place where ALL the options can be presented, including options
\nthat I haven\u2019t even dreamed of! Even though the Internet has made the supply
\nand demand path shorter, it\u2019s still hard to find just what you are looking

The highlights for my kids were the sporting events and other activities!<\/p>\n

\u201cThey couldn\u2019t get enough of it and we even had to visit the free wheelchair
\nmaintenance booth to get things tightened up! We also made contact with an
\nadaptive sports program. The expo made my job as a parent of children with

I made lasting connections with people from across the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my favorite part is networking with people, as that\u2019s how I can
\ncontinue being a resource for others. The more I know, the more I can help

Parking and Drop-off
\nTo access parking, exit Kirby Drive off of 610, enter property at Kirby and
\nMcNee (Gate 10) and proceed straight on Reliant Parkway through the second
\nstop sign. Please follow the signage directing you to take a left under the
\nawning at the Reliant Center Rotunda if you would like to drop off any
\npassengers. Then, please park in the adjacent orange lot in a designated ADA
\nparking space with appropriate ADA plates\/tags, or a general parking space
\nif you do not have ADA plates. Parking is $8\/day and is subject to change.
