I am assisting Cylathia Daniel, a doctoral student and Dr. Roseanna Davidson of  Texas Tech University  an exciting study entitled:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhich Assistive Tools and Equipment are used by Adults who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Texas \u201d. <\/p>\n<p>We need your help!  Can you give us about 15 minutes to answer 31 questions online with the click of a mouse?  <\/p>\n<p>Please also forward this to your Deaf and Hard of Hearing friends across Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Your answers will be used to help learn more about what  assistive tools (accommodations) and equipment are used by Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Texas. The on-line survey will take about \u00bd hour. <\/p>\n<p>Risks<\/p>\n<p>There is minimum risk of harm or discomfort with participation.. You will not receive any payment for participation.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<p>The information will be useful to university teacher preparation program faculty, deaf educators in public and private schools, and to adult service agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Confidentiality<\/p>\n<p>The data from the structured interview will be kept confidential and no personally identifying information will be published.<\/p>\n<p>Rights<\/p>\n<p>Your participation is totally voluntary and you may choose to stop the interview at any time with no negative consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Michael L.
