Long Middle School but he missed the first six days of class.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was mad. It was six days,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>His mother Tracey Alladin said the bus never picked him up and she had no<br \/>\nother way to get him to school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t have transportation right now. My car is down so that\u2019s why I<br \/>\ncouldn\u2019t get him to school,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Courtney is deaf and receives special services at the middle school,<br \/>\nservices which are not offered at other schools.<\/p>\n<p>After five days of calls to the school, the district and the bus service,<br \/>\nAlladin said she had enough and walked to one of the bus depots located<br \/>\nright behind her house.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI told them I was gonna call FOX 4 News,\u201d she said. \u201cOn Tuesday they<br \/>\nhurried up and picked him up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Across town at Herbert Marcus Elementary, Sylvia Ramirez is facing the same<br \/>\nproblem.<\/p>\n<p>Her 8-year-old daughter, who is also deaf and gets specialized instruction,<br \/>\nhas yet to be picked up once for school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey haven\u2019t picked her up. We\u2019ve talked to numerous people.
