Lots of ASL stories, activities, crafts, fixing lunch for parents, kite flying, etc.
\nParents will see demonstrations of reading to their deaf children,
\ntalk about experiences raising deaf children and communication problems.
\nWe’ll take a trip to the airfield to see some new airplanes land at Whitney Airfield.
\nBBQ at the Outdoor center.<\/p>\n
Family Camping Weekend for the Deaf Community <\/p>\n
Memorial Weekend & Remote Airplane Weekend <\/p>\n
May 26 – 28, 2007<\/p>\n
Bring your tents and campers and your friends
\nfor a fun, relaxing weekend in the country.
\nCampers and tents $20 per night <\/p>\n
dry camping – no hookups – water available <\/p>\n
Bunkhouse space (limited) $10 per person per night
\nOutdoor center has grills and a fire pit.
\nIP will be serving meals at $5 per person<\/p>\n
