Information about Bernard Bragg\u2019s workshop:<\/p>\n

Native signers utilize Visual Vernacular (VV) in their everyday
\nconversations mostly among themselves, especially when describing or
\nillustrating action. For the purpose of performing in pure VV on the stage,
\none must do away with signs or words completely. The performer remains
\nwithin the film frame, so to speak, presenting a montage of cross-cuts and
\ncutaway views. Close-up views, the long shot, the panoramic view, zooming,
\nslow motion, fast motion \u2013 – all are the movements of the human body.
