DeafACT is pleased to announce several open, volunteer officer positions in Austin, Texas, and Denver, Colorado. We are also seeking a volunteer Chief Financial Officer to serve on our national Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
If you would be interested in theatre with children age 8 to 14, then this is for you. DeafACT strives to unite both hearing and deaf communities by collaborating on children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s theatre ASL performances. Our Austin location has already produced a successful show last spring and is gearing up for another show this fall. Due to a nationally growing demand for children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s theatre, we are opening a new location in Denver, Colorado. We are open to anyone (hearing and deaf) interested in helping our non-profit organization by educating the community about Deaf culture and building a bridge between hearing and deaf communities. You are not required to have experience in theatre.<\/p>\n
