Watch the video for more information.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/deaflink.com\/video\/eas\/l_eng.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/deaflink.com\/video\/eas\/l_eng.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>English text\/voice and ASL<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/deaflink.com\/video\/eas\/l_span.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/deaflink.com\/video\/eas\/l_span.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Spanish text\/voice and ASL<\/p>\n<p>The reason FEMA and FCC are spreading the word about this TEST is so that<br \/>\npeople will not misunderstand and think there is a real emergency happening.<br \/>\nThe FCC is unsure what people may see on their TV screens, whether there<br \/>\nwill be a visual notice that it&#8217;s a test, or if just a static picture with<br \/>\nan audio tone (beeeeeeeeeep.)<\/p>\n<p>The EAS has never before been tested nationwide at the same time. Every<br \/>\nTV\/Cable and RADIO will be involved in this TEST. This will help the FCC and<br \/>\nFEMA to identify any issues which need to be resolved regarding EAS<br \/>\ncapabilities and functionalities.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, this is just a TEST.<\/p>\n<p>Deaf Link has made this information accessible in ASL as a Public Service to<br \/>\ncitizens.
