THE MUSICAL<br \/>\nRegional Premiere<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s 1967, and Sunset Cove, a sleepy little coastal town in Southern<br \/>\nCalifornia is rocked to its core when a big, furry monster is discovered in<br \/>\na nearby cave. It&#8217;s up to the nation&#8217;s top &#8216;lady anthropologist&#8217;, Dr. Joan<br \/>\nCannon, to uncover the truth about this mysterious creature. With the help<br \/>\nof her trusted maid\/paleontologist, Carol Ann, Dr. Cannon sets out to prove<br \/>\nthat the creature is an actual prehistoric caveman- a Troglodyte. Standing<br \/>\nin their way is Jonas Huntington, Joan&#8217;s former flame, now a renowned author<br \/>\nand Mayor of Sunset Cove. Complicating matters further is the budding<br \/>\nromance between Joan&#8217;s headstrong rock and roll loving daughter, Barbara and<br \/>\nJonas&#8217;s equally strong-willed son, Rex.<\/p>\n<p>Written by David Cerda with Cheryl Snodgrass and Tyler E. Ross<br \/>\nDirected by Bill Fountain<br \/>\nMusic Direction by Marcus Jauregui<br \/>\nStage Managed by Monica Yvette Meadows<\/p>\n<p>Cast includes: Michael B. Moore, Marcus Jauregui, Emily Shaw, Jordan<br \/>\nPokladnik, Cassidy Crown, Jared Brewer, Philip Bentham, Robert G. Shores,<br \/>\nWhitney Wilson, Aaron White, Stacie Cleland, Ande Bewley, and Brooke Riley<\/p>\n<p>Shows will be Friday and Saturday nights at 8:15 p.m. All performances will<br \/>\nbe held at the KD Studios Theatre at 2600 N Stemmons Frwy in Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>ASL interpretation will be offered on November 18th, 19th and December 2nd &amp;<br \/>\n3rd. The play will be interpreted by non-certified Interpreting students<br \/>\nfrom Collin County College.
