Deaf Awareness Weekend Celebration, June 1-3, 2007 <\/p>\n
Deaf ministries and churches from around the DFW area are invited to come and share in the fun, food and fellowship as Christ, the Cornerstone Church introduces its Deaf Ministry, Hands Unto God (HUG) Anointed Deaf Ministry. <\/p>\n
Deaf and their hearing friends, families, interpreters and ASL students are welcome. This event will begin on Friday at 7:00pm with a social fellowship. Event will have a catered banquet. It\u2019s free and opened to the public. Bring your note pads, no voicing is allowed.<\/p>\n
On Saturday morning at 7:30am, HUG will host a prayer breakfast with special music by Noah Butler and an inspirational message by Pastor Tom Hudspeth. 3 seminars\/workshops will follow the prayer breakfast. Seminars will be presented by Rosalie Jefferson, Elwyn Caldwell of DARS, and Noah Butler of Al Yadav Ministries. All events are free and open to the public. <\/p>\n
All are invited to a culminating service on Sunday morning at 8:30am. During this service, there will be a special ceremony called \u201cThe Anointing of the Hands\u201d, anointing those who feel a call to deaf ministry or deaf service. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.<\/p>\n
All events will take place at DeSoto Assembly of God, 800 S. Hampton Road, Desoto, Texas 75115. Saturday and Sunday events are interpreted in ASL.<\/p>\n
