Brazos Valley Regional Day School for the Deaf is accepting applications for a Full Time Sign Language Interpreter. RID or BEI Certification required.<\/p>\n
Level I pay begins at $26,000 for 187 work days. (You are paid through the summer.) Increment is given for years of experience. Higher skill level interpreters have a higher pay scale. <\/p>\n
Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, sick days, Texas Teacher’s Retirement contributions, and staff development with BEI CEUs. We also have a Level V interpreter for mentoring and skill development training.<\/p>\n
Interpreters do not have teacher aide duties in our program. Interpreters need to have good ASL skills. <\/p>\n
