The DALLAS ASSOCIATION OF THE DEAF and the DALLAS\/FT. WORTH AREA DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING SERVICES are proud to announce the first of a series of Saturday morning\u2019s educational and empowering workshops!<\/p>\n

Our first jointly sponsored workshop will be Saturday morning, June 30, 2007 9 a.m. \u2013 12 p.m., at DAD. <\/p>\n

The presenter will be HEATHER BISE and the topic of her workshop is \u201cBECOMING A SELF ADVOCATE, GETTING THE JOB DONE!\u201d<\/p>\n

This workshop is free for everyone, Deaf\/hard of hearing adults and teenagers alike.<\/p>\n

Ms. Bise, DHHS\/DARS Dallas Regional Specialist, will explain your rights, via ADA & how to improve your interview skills. She also plans to do some role playing, with the participants, via interactive interviews.<\/p>\n

Light refreshments will be sold.<\/p>\n
