VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR DEAFTAX 2012- HOUSTON<\/strong><\/p>\n

The City of Houston\u2019s Mayor\u2019s Office for People with Disabilities\u00a0and the
\nInternal Revenue Services (IRS) are partnering to provide free tax for the
\nDeaf and Hard of Hearing. In order for this be successful, we need
\nvolunteers! Volunteers need to be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to
\ncommunicate with the deaf and hard of hearing tax payers. We are offering a
\ntax training session for all volunteers who want to become a certified tax
\npreparer.<\/p>\n

Tax Training Information:<\/p>\n

Date: Wednesday and Thursday, January 18th and 19th, 2012<\/p>\n

Where: Metropolitan Multi-Service Center, 1475 W. Gray St., Houston, TX
