My name is Elyse Salpeter and I’m a writer with Cool Well Press. My new
\nnovel called FLYING TO THE LIGHT is a young adult thriller and was just

I wanted to get in touch with you to see if your site promotes new novels
\nwith deaf characters? In my novel, one of the main characters, six year old
\nDanny Anderson, is deaf. I so seldom see the deaf community represented in
\nmainstream fiction and I thought you would be interested in seeing the novel
\nwith this little hero and possibly those in the community might wish to
\npurchase it. I would love to see if you’d like to do a review on the novel
\nor an author interview or need any additional information from me. Here’s a
\nrecap of the book:<\/p>\n

Seventeen year old Michael Anderson and his deaf kid brother, Danny, find

I don’t make Danny’s deafness a disability – it is simply a part of who he
\nis, but I do make him special and that is something I think your audience
