As you know, you heard the rumor in regarding DPHH Austin to become 501(c)7 as non-profit organzation. Since there was miscommunication between the barrier world. I want to be clear to everyone and this is the offical note from the host of DPHH Austin and current committees. We want to inform you that DPHH Austin WILL not be a 501(c)7 nonprofit organzation and it will remain social gathering. Nothing will change and everything will resume to years come. The rumors you had heard was false and we never have planned to become 501(c)7 for nonprofit by mergering with other organzation. We have the sources about this situation and we will be gladly to provide documents upon requested. <\/p>\n
Evenually, in case if you do not know, the former committees who resigned were Judy Buchanan, Aide Riojas, Luis Ortiz, Lisa Santos and Lisa Massey-Lawrence. The current committees who will be staying are Joseph Brzezowski, Melinda Armbrust, Kimberly Barnett, Tarl Fields, Wade Scott, Cassie Haynes. The remaining person is Shayne Baylock, the status is still unknown until he confirmed us what is his future plans with DPHH. As you know, there will be new committees to be replaced from these resigned committees. The information will be available online shortly. The current committees want to have meeting with everyone who wants to know what is the latest stats with DPHH Austin since there is alot new information that we want to share with the community.<\/p>\n
We are in the works to develop a DPHH Austin’s forum where you can share your ideas, how to improve DPHH Austin for our future. This will be open to everyone and help improve commucation for everyone. This is really important becuase we do not need no rumors or miscommunications at once. We want you to keep updated what is going on with DPHH Austin.<\/p>\n
