Scofield Poker Tournament will be held at the Bottoms Up Sports Grill this Saturday. This bar is owned and operated by a deaf man name Larry. He just opened his new bar few months ago in Friendswood, Tx; very south of Houston. He is welcoming the deaf community to his sport bar.<\/p>\n
The idea grew bigger and bigger. At a point, we started to think about the upcoming poker tournament. So then I thought, hmmm, why not involve the whole community. It would be a great way to put the spiritual principle of gratitude into practice. It will also give ourselves, the blogging community, the chance to gather as a virtual family and share our deaf community.<\/p>\n
Deaf Professional Happy Hour Houston (DPHHH) will be hosting at the Bottoms Up Sports Grill too. They start at 8pm. However, you can come earlier. It would be a great place to meeting new people from the greater Houston and visiting from other city or state. Check the website for the direction to this sport bar at www.dphhh.com. <\/p>\n
You don’t have to be a professional poker player. We welcome the diversity of people to have a good time combining with deaf socialize.<\/p>\n
Open at 11am and start play tournament at 4pm. Last call for buy in by 3pm at the door.<\/p>\n
Fans welcome! Free admission! Anyone welcome including CODAs, hearing or college students that are learning sign language.<\/p>\n
Unlimited players and $60 buy-in (15,000 chips). Unlimted Re-buy $10 (5,000 chips) before first break! (First break will be after four 15 mins blind levels.)
