We actually have another deaf baby on petfinder. Her name is Consuela.
\nConsuela is a 6 month old Chihuahua\/Dachshund mix. She was surrendered
\nto the shelter by her owner who could not afford to take care of her.
\nConsuela is a little gal with blue eyes; however, she is hearing
\nimpaired. This does not slow her down at all! She is a bundle of love
\nand energy and loves to be held! She barks and acts like any other dog
\naside from not being able to hear. She is a special one and she hopes
\nto find a new family who will accept her for the wonderful dog that she
\nis! Adoption fee includes one set of vaccinations, a required
\nspay\/neuter surgery, a heartworm test, and microchip registration. If
\nyou are interested in this pet, please visit the shelter at 1869 Ames
\nBlvd, Marrero or call (504) 349-5111. Remember to give the animal’s ID
\nnumber.

\noverpass. Exit right to Westbank Expressway.) Stay on Westbank
\nExpressway until you reach Ames Blvd. in Marrero. Turn south (away from
\nriver) onto Ames. Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter will be on your left.
