Proud of her deafness but aware of the isolation it brings,<br \/>\nAneta utilizes her unique experiences to create a powerful poetic art<br \/>\nform. When Aneta meets Tahani, a hearing Palestinian slam poet, the two<br \/>\ncreate a deaf\/hearing duet in which they explore their shared and<br \/>\npersonal experiences and generate a new form of slam poetry which<br \/>\nspeaks to the deaf as well as the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout HJFF we will be accepting donations of gently used<br \/>\nchildren\u2019s books.
