Residential Facility for adults with disabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hi,<\/p>\n

Mary Lee Foundation is an organization that serves adults with
\ndisabilities and I am wondering if your organization might be a way to
\nlet people know of the opening we have in one of our residential
\nprograms. It is an apartment living program for adults with
\ndisabilities that allows them to live fairly independently but still
\nreceive the help they need. We have some people with mild
\ndevelopmental disabilities or mental health disorders. We currently
\nhave one opening and I am wondering if your organization might be a
\nresource to help us find someone to fill that vacancy. It is a 2
\nbedroom apartment and the 1 person currently living there is deaf (and
\nhas another mild disability). It would be great to find a roommate for
\nher who is deaf as well so she can communicate well with that person.<\/p>\n

The cost of the program is $1500\/ month, which includes the following:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Rent
\n\u00b7 Utilities & gas
\n\u00b7 Groceries
\n\u00b7 Intercom phone and day room phone
\n\u00b7 Use of basic furniture
\n\u00b7 Case management
\n\u00b7 Staff to supervise medication pass
\n\u00b7 Staff assistance in keeping current medical appointments
\n\u00b7 Transportation to medical appointments
\n\u00b7 Staff assistance in ordering medications
\n\u00b7 Staff assistance in cooking meals
\n\u00b7 Nurse to follow up on medical appointments and check resident when
\nill
\n\u00b7 Bookkeeping to manage money if needed
\n\u00b7 Staff assistance in completing some tasks such as keeping apartment
\nclean and reminders to complete activities of daily living
\n\u00b7 Routine maintenance
\n\u00b7 Leisure activities<\/p>\n
