The primary purpose of this position is to<br \/>\ndirectly support the Risk Analysis, Mitigation Planning program and<br \/>\nprovide administrative support toward the successful accomplishment of<br \/>\nthe goals and objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Assist Risk Analysis, Mitigation Planning staff in compiling and<br \/>\nmaintaining basic program authorities, guidelines, plans, work plans,<br \/>\nstudies, and related documents and data.<br \/>\nAttend meetings and assist in preparing reports for such meetings.<br \/>\nKnowledge of common and FEMA-specific computer software programs so as<br \/>\nto become proficient in inputting and retrieving data pertaining to the<br \/>\nwork of the Mitigation Planning program area.<br \/>\nConducts audits as requested.<br \/>\nCompose basic administrative reports, letters, and related documents<br \/>\nfor the Mitigation Planning program area.<br \/>\nMaintain the Mitigation Planning program area database for tracking the<br \/>\nreview and approval status of all State, local and tribal Mitigation<br \/>\nplans for Region VI.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:<\/p>\n<p>You qualify for this position at the GS-07 level if you possess one of<br \/>\nthe following: One full year of specialized experience.
