A three-hour workshop presented by Randal King that includes Do\u2019s &
\nDon\u2019ts\u2019s: When, Where, and How. Mr. King will share some ways that ASL
\ninstructors can help prepare their students for culturally appropriate
\ninteractions within the Deaf community such as appropriate survival
\nsigns, understanding the regional signs, emphasis on communication over
\nskills etc. Randal King, a Gallaudet Alumni, received his Masters
\nDegree in Deaf Education from Lamar University.<\/p>\n

Currently he is teaching ASL both at Jean Massieu Academy and at
\nTCC\/Trinity Campus.<\/p>\n

Certificate of participation will be given at the end of the workshop.<\/p>\n
