Christy Smith and Dave Justice of Discovering Deaf Worlds will soon be traveling around the world. They will meet with Deaf storytellers, community leaders, youth, and organizations from several countries including New Zealand, Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, India, Nepal, and Kenya.<\/p>\n

Their Plan:<\/p>\n

* Capture stories of Deaf people from around the world and draw exposure to the beauty and diversity of international sign languages.
\n* Raise awareness of current issues in Deaf communities worldwide related to communication access, Deaf education and employment opportunities.<\/p>\n
